This week we talk to Lisa Stollman about simple, healthy choices for maintaining a healthy weight and a healthy life. Her hacks for a healthy weight are:
- Learn new and sustainable habits.
- Get on a scale every day or so.
- Eat more fiber.
- Eats lots of non-starchy veggies, fruit, whole grains, beans and nuts.
Lisa is a nutrition expert specializing in diabetes, sustainable weight management and food sensitivities. Lisa is the CEO of Lisa Stollman Nutrition and NutritionWellth. In 2015 Lisa Stollman, MA, RDN, CDCES, CDN, CLT was honored as the Outstanding Dietitian of The Year by The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Lisa's passion is helping people live healthier and more fulfilling lives. She obtained both her B.S. in Foods and Nutrition and her M.A. in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.
